Take your desperate use of the "C" word and shove it!

"We could also have a debate between Mr. Ignatieff and myself since, after all, the real choice in this election is a choice between a Conservative government or an Ignatieff-led government that all of these other parties will support[.]”

Il Duce, Brampton, Ont, Wednesday March 30, 2011

The funny thing is, any government, be it one led by the Ignatieff, Layton, or even Duceppe would be wonderful...because it wouldn't be led by Stephen Harper. I don't frankly care how you cobble together an alternative. At least it would be ABC, a grouping, partnership, coalition, whatever, of progressively minded politicians. Obviously the great leader is terrified that Canadians might figure out that that is what they would get with a coalition, and why he is continuing to vilify the word like a Western cold warrior using the evil terms "communism" and "socialism." Maybe he should suggest establishing a Committee on Un-Canadian Activities and have people finger their friends, relatives, and co-workers and coalition-leaning traitors. He obviously thinks Canadians are stupid enough to agree with him.

I hope Il Duce realizes that if he does do this debate, he won't be able to rely upon the other leaders to attack each other, and that he will actually need to answer questions coming from a single person and not from four other debaters whom he can play off each other. Although he could still pull his "if you say it loud enough and with conviction, it's obviously true" act. That, and starting every sentence with "The fact of the matter is...." AHHHHH!!
